The first week of Spring called for "Exploring Spring".
We had had several raining days so kids brought their rain boots and some umbrellas and we went for a walk around the church grounds.
Of course that day the sun came out and most of the puddles dried up; but thanks to the church parking lot we found a few.
The kids had a BLAST.
Umbrellas were used even though they weren't needed.
We SAW Spring.
We HEARD Spring.
We SMELLED Spring.
And we FELT Spring.
Signs of Spring were everywhere.
I loved how each child approached the puddles differently.
One friend picked up worms for us. The girls squealed.
We came in and drew the things we saw.
It was a very good day.
