We played "Vet".
Q-tips, bandaids, cotton balls, stethoscopes, thermometers and more were used in our play.
The morning class set up a waiting room.
They sat their for awhile trying to decide who would be the Vet; everyone wanted to wait with their pet.
Eventually they had a vet and then no one waited int he waiting room the rest of the morning.
We learned quickly we wouldn't use real bandaids on the stuffed animals.
Some stuffed animals had no problems and others did; some bandaid brands have no problem on fur and others do.
The solution was painters tape for bandaids.
That worked great.
